Clinic Acupuncturist

Our clinic provider, Jacquelyn (Jacquie) Crema, L.Ac., is a National Board-Certified AcupuncturistTM  who specializes in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Japanese style acupuncture. Some of the healing modalities that she uses include acupuncture, acupressure, moxabustion, cupping, sound healing with tuning forks, Chinese herbal formulas, traditional gua sha & facial gua sha (AcuGlow), and electro-acupuncture. In combination or alone, these therapies are effective in treating a variety of ailments.

Jacquie’s educational training includes a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Comparative Study of Religion from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine/Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. She interned and studied under Professor Fumitaka Tayama at Tayama Acupuncture Clinic in Kurume-city, Japan.

In addition to Asian medicine, our clinic provider is also a certified yoga teacher and musician. She taught music (string instruments) for over 20 years, and loves treating other musicians with acupuncture. She understands the complex set of repetitive motions that musicians experience, and the aches and pains they create. Her musical background puts her at an advantage with using sound healing (tuning forks).

Jacquie teaches courses at Ray of Hope Reflexology Academy and other locations in the USA and Japan. Topics are on alternative medicine and yoga/meditation.

Jacquelyn is a National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) National Board-Certified AcupuncturistTM (NBCA). She holds an acupuncture license in Wisconsin.
